Other Data Jam Lessons

The following lesson plans can also be found at Asombro.org/climate

Climate Data Jam: This lesson plan uses a dataset of historical and predicted future temperature and precipitation for every county in the contiguous U.S. Slides and worksheets allow you to walk students through the steps.

This lesson is part of the Climate Change and the Water Cycle Module

Wildfire Data Jam: This lesson plan uses a dataset of historical and predicted future wildfire risk for ecosystems of the Western U.S. Slides and worksheets allow you to walk students through the steps.

This lesson is part of the Climate Change and Wildfire Module

Water Conservation Data Jam: This lesson plan uses a dataset of water use in several categories (residential, agricultural…), available for every county in the U.S. Slides and worksheets allow you to walk students through the steps, including several optional activities for digging deeper into the data and moving beyond data to water conservation action.
